About Us:

We are a boutique residential interior design firm known for delivering creative highly personalized, thoughtfully curated spaces. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Design Assistant to support our Principal Designer in all aspects of the design business. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the full lifecycle of residential design projects—from concept to installation. Candidate must exemplify exceptional organizational and project management skills, demonstrate urgency and follow-through while manage multiple residential projects simultaneously

Key Responsibilities:

• Project & Office Coordination:

o Manage all back-office operations including scheduling, order placement, and tracking

o Coordinate vendor communications and delivery logistics

o Schedule client meetings, site visits, and furniture installations

• Design Support:

o Create and update AutoCAD floor plans, elevations, and construction documents

o Develop 3D renderings and visual presentations using SketchUp

o Assist with sourcing materials, furniture, and finishes

• Administrative Duties:

o Responsible for all Billing using Houzz Pro

o Maintain organized records of purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory

o Communicate with clients on project time lines, and billing

• Client Engagement:

o Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and contractors

o Support the Principal Designer in preparing client presentations and mood boards

• Social Media:

o Assist in maintaining social media presence

Qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Houzz Pro, and QuickBooks

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in interior design or a related creative field is preferred
