To add more color and texture to her space, Browning invests in vases, candle holders, and decorative trays.

She highlighted the important role color plays in decorating any space.

“One of my favorite interior design hacks is incorporating a touch of color,” she said.

“Even in minimalist homes with predominantly beige designs, I find that adding pops of color to various decor pieces can make a significant difference.

“This approach achieves an elevated and visually engaging look for the home.”

Browning also broke down the common decor trends that may be bringing down the look of your home.

“Using low-quality materials such as fake wood, faux finishes, or flimsy fabrics can cheapen the look of a home,” she explained.

The interior expert pointed out that these materials “often lack durability and can deteriorate quickly.”

“Instead invest in high-quality materials such as solid wood furniture, genuine leather upholstery, and natural stone surfaces,” she advised.

She also suggested opting for fabrics such as linen, cotton, or wool for textiles.

They not only look more luxurious but also tend to wear better over time.
