Located on the 3000 block of Brighton Common, the collection of two-storey townhomes faces a scenic pond, part of Dream’s master-planned community’s extensive ecosystem of ponds and wetlands.

Each townhome features a large front porch where the waterfront views can be savoured, says Lynn Robison, area sales manager with Dream. “The large porches are a key design element of the townhomes’ charming farmhouse style exteriors,” says Robison.

“Homes by Dream is focused on creating architecturally distinct, people-first homes. The Waterfront Towns are a great example of this. Each townhome feels unique. The architecture is cohesive, yet each unit is defined.”

Waterfront Towns consists of 27 units with two different floor plans: the 1,701 square-foot Felix model and the 1,575 square-foot Harper model. Each model offers three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and detached double garages.

“The project has five buildings in total — three buildings with five homes and two buildings with six homes,” says Robison.

“Amanda has created nine different design palettes for the Waterfront Towns. These amazing design palettes allow buyers to personalize with confidence. You never have to ask the question, ‘Will this look good together?’ These curated palettes also simplify the home-buying process and ensure an effortless experience,” says Robison.

The staged Felix model located at 3037 Brighton Common features the “Deep Waters” design palette, comprised of crisp white tones and luxurious finishes including quartz countertops, rustic wood-look luxury vinyl plank flooring on the main floor and marble-style ceramic tile floors in the bathrooms and upstairs laundry.

The main floor’s open concept layout feels bright and spacious, optimized by large windows, LED pot lights and a nine-foot ceiling. The living room windows are finished with decorative grilles, in keeping with the home’s farmhouse architecture.

The kitchen is at the heart of the home’s main floor, dressed in white painted Shaker-style cabinets, complemented by a white subway tile backsplash. A closet pantry further boosts storage capacity. The nine-foot quartz-topped island stands out in a contrasting shade of rich blue. Each kitchen is equipped with a complete suite of stainless steel appliances.

The spacious dining area overlooks the home’s backyard patio, with natural light flooding into the space through large triple pane windows. “Maximizing window size is very important to Dream. This even extends to the secondary bedrooms,” says Robison.

A powder room, coat closet and broom closet are located by the home’s rear entrance which leads to the back yard and the detached 20-by-20-foot garage.

Three bedrooms are located on the second floor, including an inviting owners’ suite. The primary bedroom’s shiplap feature wall is an attention-getter, created from painted textured knotty pine. Casement windows invite views of Brighton’s acclaimed parks, including the neighbourhood’s signature art installation.

The ensuite bath has many luxury appointments, including a quartz-topped double sink vanity with a quartz backsplash, a soaker tub set into a tile-covered deck, a glass-enclosed walk-in shower and separate toilet closet.

Both secondary bedrooms are generously-sized. One of these bedrooms has been staged with two twin beds, to emphasize the room’s spaciousness. A full-sized bathroom is located adjacent to the children’s bedrooms.

Robison says that sales of the Waterfront Towns have been brisk since the first units were completed at the end of November.

“The size of the townhomes, the great location and the luxury finishes have been driving sales. People love the turnkey aspect. The garage, the patio, the fence and front and back landscaping are all done.”

The Waterfront Towns also offer the convenience of condominium living. Residents don’t have to shovel snow or cut their front lawns. Condo fees even include watering the grass and annual exterior window washing.
