Because the sheer volume of deals can be overwhelming, we spoke with three Southern interior designers about top trends to shop this season. 

One of our experts, Meredith McKenzie, owner and principal designer of The Selective Design in Macon, Georgia, offers this advice: “Overall, always try to scout pieces that can transition well from season to season so you can invest in high-quality pieces, versus collecting a lot of on-theme, trendy items that only work for one holiday or season.” Keeping this in mind, we’ve curated a selection of Memorial Day deals on home and outdoor decor, based on the recommendations of designers. Although we all love beige and cream throw blankets, Scheck says she’s leaning into deeper, richer hues this season. “I’ve always gravitated to velvety mocha browns, and I use them often,” she says. “I recommend embracing bolder colors like brown, charcoal, mauve, various shades of blue, or whatever resonates with you.” This knitted chenille throw comes in a variety of deeper shades, including dark brown, navy, and olive green. It makes a great accent for any couch, chair, or bed.
