LC Three of New York is a luxury residential interior design firm based in NYC. We are a small boutique office seeking a junior designer to join our growing team. You will work directly with the Principal Designer. Your role will be pivotal in supporting our growth and expansion in all aspects of the project from inception to completion. Responsibilities include:

• Working directly with Principal Designer to see projects through from inception to completion

• Creating furniture plans, elevations, RCPs, millwork drawings, custom furniture drawings, etc.

• Sourcing FF&E, preparing specifications and schedules

• Communicating with vendors for lead time, pricing, etc.

• Building client presentations

• Site visits to supervise/check-in as needed

• Entering FF&E into Studio Designer in order to generate client proposals, invoices, purchase orders, etc.

• Placing orders, tracking orders and managing vendor follow-up

• Organizing and scheduling furniture deliveries and installations

• Assisting Principal Designer in project management of multiple projects simultaneously

• Attending design meetings and installations with Principal Designer

• 4-year bachelor’s degree

• 3-5 years experience in residential design in a design related position

• Proficiency in CAD, Studio Designer, Power Point, Adobe and Google Docs

• Rendering and/or Photoshop skills a plus

• Knowledge of NYC design resources – furniture, fabrics, wallcoverings, vendors, artisans

• Knowledge of order placement, review, and materials purchasing and production

• This role requires a NYC office presence, client visits, and work from home, ideally based within a 45-minute commute to Manhattan

• Positive and supportive team player

• Organized in management, logistics and task organization

• Attention to detail, comprehensive review skills, and meticulous work ethic

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent time management and follow through

• Design sensibility and intuition

• Ability to prioritize, multitask and be involved in several projects at once

• Willingness to travel as needed for projects
