Stealthy Camper Van Hides a Zen Interior With a Serene, Earthy Design, Now for Sale
Interior design plays a critical part in our well-being. When it comes to camper vans, some van lifers focus more on practicality and don’t give their rig a pleasant aesthetic. However, with the right doses of creativity and talent, you can come up with an interior that beautifully balances form and functionality. Today, I’m discussing a camper van that does exactly that.
Campervans by Leo is fairly fresh on the market, having been founded about one to two years ago. Don’t be fooled by this detail, as its builds look so good that it makes you think the company has been doing this for much longer. According to its website, it has made seven fully custom rigs so far. The “Om” conversion I’m taking a look at today is one of the company’s latest projects.
Many people embrace van life with the purpose of becoming more connected to nature. Well, this camper van is the perfect mobile home to do that with, as it’s designed to evoke a sense of harmony with nature, serving as a peaceful retreat that allows you to reconnect with the natural world, as Campervans by Leo describes.
Like I usually do, I’ll begin the tour with the exterior. If this vehicle were to pass you by on the road, you’d surely think it’s just another cargo van. It has a standard white interior and no exterior upgrades that hint toward its “camper DNA,” not even an extra window. This makes the van perfect for stealth camping, as it will blend in wherever you go, especially in urban environments.

The only features that might indicate that someone is living inside this van are two 175 W solar panels on the roof, which are barely visible only from further away.
Step inside, and things take a drastic turn – there’s nothing “standard” about this van’s living space. It superbly blends wood accents, such as the slatted ceiling and cabinetry, with rattan elements and limestone. Specifically, it has a real limestone floor, while the walls are painted with limewash, giving them a natural, textured finish.
The gorgeous aesthetic continues with a serene palette of earth tones throughout the interior, complemented by soft textures and sustainable fabrics. Even though I haven’t actually stepped inside this van, just seeing its living space on a screen gives me a sense of calmness.
I know tastes are subjective, but I feel most of you will agree with me that this is an eye-catching design. The look is complemented by fine ambient lighting, with LED strips integrated under the overhead cabinets and in the ceiling, toe-kick lights, and accent lights.

You’ll notice a closed layout, meaning a wall separates the driver’s cabin from the living space. However, Leo devised an arched pass-through door for more convenience and quick access to the driver’s cabin in case of an emergency.
A bench is located right in front of the door. But this isn’t your standard bench with storage space underneath. In fact, it houses a hidden shower. Lift its cushion and top panel, and you’ll reveal a shower pan and a water mixer connected to a shower head. Setting up the rest of the shower is quick and easy, as all you have to do is attach a curtain to hooks on the ceiling.
Straight ahead of the entrance, you’ll notice this rig’s kitchen. It has such a simple yet beautiful design, with a natural stone tiled backsplash and golden accents (such as the handles or faucet). What’s more, the countertops are made of micro cement, painted with lime wash to match the rest of the interior design, and then finished with a durable countertop coating.
The kitchen features a large, deep stainless steel sink and a floor-to-ceiling unit holding a microwave and a fridge/freezer. Moreover, you’ll find an additional counter on the opposite side. Besides providing ample meal prep space, this counter houses a portable slide-out two-burner stove, a large drawer, and a cabinet. Above, you’ll also notice an overhead cabinet.

Finally, the lounge/bedroom area occupies the interior’s rear part. It’s spacious and has an enormous U-shaped lounge with a swivel table in the middle. Instead of fitting windows, Campervans by Leo devised two arches with lights. They mostly serve an aesthetic purpose, although you can also use their bottom parts as small nightstands.
Transforming the couch into a bed is really straightforward. You’ll have to remove the table, use it and another wood panel to connect the benches, and rearrange the cushions.
The camper van’s utility systems are housed in the couch’s benches. The one on the passenger’s side holds the plumbing system, which consists of a 25-gallon (95-liter) freshwater tank connected to two water filters and a pump. Furthermore, all the water you use inside this rig ends up in an under-mounted 17-gallon (64-liter) greywater tank.
Inside the opposite bench, you’ll discover the electrical system, which isn’t that powerful but is good enough to support this rig’s amenities. Its highlights are a 200 Ah battery, a 2,000 W inverter, and a solar charge controller connected to the solar panels on the roof.

Regarding the rest of the utilities, this rig sports an air and water combi heater that taps into the vehicle’s gas tank. What’s more, a Maxx air vent fan ensures that the moisture from showering and the fumes and smells from cooking are vented out.
All in all, this rig can comfortably accommodate two people in its unique, superbly designed living space. Although it’s not the best equipped when it comes to amenities, it offers the essentials for long-term travel.
Campervans by Leo listed this tiny home on wheels for sale. It currently has about 90,000 miles (144,840 km) and is offered for what I find to be a fair price of $78,000 (€71,192). You can find out more about it on its vanlife trader listing.
