Two Dudes, Too Much Paint – Earth Day giveaway [photos]

Two Dudes Painting Company held an Earth Day event, ‘Two Dudes, Too Much Paint’ – Earth Day Giveaway took place at their location on Poplar St. in Lancaster city on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

This was Two Dudes inaugural event to find an environmentally friendly way to part with their overstock of paint that sold for a $1 per gallon donation.

Peter Barber, owner of Two Dudes Painting Co., explains, “With over 70 talented painters, we accumulate a substantial surplus of quality paint. We are looking to creatively manage our inventory and positively impact our community. ‘Two Dudes, Too Much Paint’ embodies our commitment as a Certified B Corporation to environmental stewardship and social responsibility.”

The proceeds from the paint sale will help support SoWe Affordable Home Repair Program. “Which is specifically for low-income homeowners in our neighborhood to help them with critical home repairs like replacing their roof, or their boiler, or new windows that will help energy costs or doors,” says Jacquie Morges, SoWe communications and engagement manager.
